About Sportcraft Marina

A Short History of Sportcraft Marina:

Sportcraft Marina began it's operations on the water in Oregon City back in the 1930's. Then it was only a bait shop and rowboat livery. There was no dock, so the rental boats were dragged onto the beach when not in use. At that time, outboard motors were not real dependable.  So, upon renting a boat, you would often hire an eager Oregon City High School student to row it for you.  Around 50 cents a day was an acceptable rate.

In the 70s, Sportcraft secured a Honda Marine dealership. Since then, we have been so successful with Honda sales and service that we are not only the oldest dealership in the United States but are consistently one of the largest volume dealers in the nation. In, 1982 we added Suzuki Marine, which has been an excellent product for us. We have been awarded numerous sales and service awards from these companies over the years. We are currently dealers for Allied, Arima, Defiance and SeaSport boats as well.  All quality boat lines we are very happy with.

In 2008, Sportcraft Marina was forced to move from the water in Oregon City closer to Portland on McLoughlin Blvd., due to the loss of a lease.

Current ownership has been in place since 1979.

Sportcraft Marina is conveniently located near the areas of Portland, Salem, Seattle, Eugene, and Vancouver, WA.
