DATE TO BE POSTED FEB 2007 - Righting and Rescue
What to do if you or your friend falld over? Drowning is not an option. Learn techniques of saving someone or more importantly how to save yourself. The cost is $25.00 per person and you will get wet. This clinic does fill, so enroll early. Sportcraft provides equipment; you provide your own wet clothes, towel, and dry clothes.
DATE TO BE POSTED FEB 2007 - Moving Water
Understanding the ways of moving water before you paddle on it can prevent some troublesome times. In this class you will be instructed in back ferrying, eddy turns, and whatever else is necessary for maneuvering in class 1+ rapids. Consider this an introduction to white water even though you will be in touring kayaks. Expect to be on the water for about 3 hours. Our fee is $45.00. We will provide the equipment; you bring your own clothes, water, and snacks.
