A very informative lecture directed to those who wish to become involved in canoeing but need a foundation of knowledge. In general, the focus is about the design, material, cost, and use of canoes. Paddles and PFDs will also be discussed.

You may bring questions about books to read, places to paddle, transporting canoes, laws governing canoes and so on. The only requirement for attending this lecture is a phone call to let us know you're coming.
